Uniting provides a range of mental health programs under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) that can help you achieve your mental wellbeing goals.

Support Coordination

We can support you to make your NDIS plan real by connecting you with services so that you can get on with living the way you choose.

Capacity building and skills development

We have skilled and trained staff delivering the following programs that assist with increased social and community participation and skills development one on one or in a group.

Optimal Health Program (OHP)

OHP is a nine week, accredited group or individual program, which promotes hope and growth while building on individual strengths. The program covers visioning, goal setting and problem solving.

DBT Informed Skills Training

The DBT program is an 18 or 33 week, accredited group or individual program which teaches important skills to help manage your emotions and behaviours and navigate difficult life situations. The program covers mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation and managing personal relationships.

Individual skills development

Individual skills development helps you to develop strategies for improved daily living. The program covers coping with anxiety, depression and stress as well as skills in relaxation, mindfulness, problem solving and stress management.
